[How-To] Install mod_security

Summary:
This article will attempt to explain how to install mod_security on a Plesk machine. Mod_security is an open source intrusion prevention module for Apache. It is nice in that you do not have to recompile all of apache to get it installed. There are numerous rulesets available on the web for mod_security. In order for the module to be truly effective, you need to keep the rulesets up to date. At the same time, you also need to limit which rulesets you use, as having too many or the wrong ones can result in server page load lag or errors in your website programs.
