Happy New Year: Free Ringtone from Verizon Wireless

Happy New Year! I just found this nifty offer from Verizon Wireless. They are giving customers a free ringtone today only.

Details are on their website, but here are the simple steps. Remember it is valid December 31, 2006 from 12:00am to 11:59pm.

  1. Go to Get It Now on your Verizon Wireless phone.
  2. Click on Music & Tones
  3. Get New Ringtones
  4. Download or Access VZW Tones Deluxe
  5. Pick & Purchase a Ringtone
  6. Click Redemption Code and Enter “2007″

I will note that as of 3:00pm I am getting a “The network is temporarily unavailable. (1289)” error message when I click “getTones.”
